Apeksha heads Corporate Communications at Policybazaar.com. She is responsible for shaping and driving the overall messaging of Policybazaar and its parent company PB Fintech. She is responsible for strategizing and driving the InsurTech brand’s key narrative with all relevant stakeholders and has a deep understanding of building a strong brand reputation in line with the company’s long-term vision. Under her leadership, Policybazaar also successfully executed its IPO Comms. Apeksha believes that good content when distributed right becomes the key-driver for rich communication that makes one stand-out in the crowd. Given her Engineering background she's well equipped with analytical problem-solving skills which is crucial for business today. With this belief, Apeksha has scaled the corporate communications department at PolicyBazaar Group in the past 6 years. She’s also responsible for driving Comms of Policybazaar’s PoSP & B2B arm i.e. PB Partners & PB for Business respectively.
She is also a former Broadcast Journalist & News Anchor. Prior to this she has worked as a seasoned broadcast journalist across marquee English news channels as a News producer & anchor. She started her professional career with the news channel TIMES NOW under the guidance & leadership of Arnab Goswami. She’s also been an integral part of the other news brands such as India Today, ET Now & NewsX covering the political landscape of India. Her work experience as a broadcast journalist across brands has been an embodiment of various skills and expertise that has propelled her career path to varied roles and expansive experiences which centers around mastering the art of storytelling. Before transitioning to Comms, for a brief period she also covered Tech & Digital advertising heading the Delhi-NCR region as a Senior Correspondent with E4M
Apeksha is a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and then went on to pursue her masters in Media and Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communications. She also holds a specialized certification in Marketing Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
Gayathri Sharma is a Communications specialist with about 25 years’ experience in managing corporate reputation, public relations, branding and CSR. She is part of the Leadership Team at Rolls-Royce and leads external Communications as well as Community Investment for the Asia-pacific region. She is also a champion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and chairs the India Inclusion Forum as well as POSH Committees at Rolls-Royce.
