Ringo calls service

Purpose of the ad:

The purpose of the ad is to target the Indian community stationed in US, UK and Canada and encourage them to connect back home using the clear and low cost Ringo calls service.

Storyboard:

The ad begins with an Indian girl living in US/UK/Canada who finds a potential husband. She wants to break this news to her grandmother back in India. However, when her grandmother asks her if he is Indian, she tries to avoid the question about the nationality as he is a foreigner. She makes funny sounds on the phone to make belief it to be a network problem, but, since the call is crystal clear through Ringo the grandmother catches her fib. The ad ends with Ringo's key message of 'High Quality calls without the use of the internet' makes it offer crystal clear call quality. Essentially, the ad tries to create a nostalgic feeling for viewers and offers them a chance to connect back to their Indian root by offering 60 mins free calling to India.
